Notes of Interest

Our next Leadership Series will be on June 12, 2010. The speaker will be our own Bro. David Tyson so come out and share in this time of impartation.

We will be doing a Community Project at the Dallas Bethlehem Center. Information has been gathered & a date will be forthcoming.

Please join the Outreach Ministry with the Homeless Feeding at the Austin Street Shelter on every 3rd Tuesday.

Bro. Aldrich Turner would like our support on Thursday's when our gym is open to the community for young men. Our presence & assistance with providing 15 minute devotions would be a big help.
On Saturday (6-19-10), we will be having our Men/Boys Banquet in the Christian Life Center at 7:00pm. Our speaker for this event will be Warren Seay Jr. & for our Men's Day Service the speaker will be Rev. Rodney Graves, Pastor of McCabe-Roberts UMC in Beaumont, TX.

On Father's Day, the UMW will be serving for us after both services.

Vision

To build a coalition of men to unite the body of Christ. This will be done by networking, being in constant prayer for each other & our church, & keeping God in the forefront of everything we do.

Purpose

To provide a dedicated ministry for building men spiritually & involving men in the total ministry of the church. This will be done by providing opportunities for men to showcase their God-given talent to make our church & community a place where God is large & in charge.

Every second Saturday of each month at 8am for a breakfast meeting in the Christian Life Center at the church.

2010 Calendar Events

In January, we will be kicking off our Leadership Series "Man in the Mirror". This series will take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month. There will be various speakers that will be presenting on Leadership in the Family, Community, & the Church. Come join us as we grow together as a church and as men. See you there!!!
We will be doing a service project at the Dallas Bethlehem Center. The date will be confirmed.
In June we will be having our annual Men's Day Service on Sunday (6-20-10). We will also be having a Men/Boys Banquet on Saturday (6-19-10). These activities will make it a men's weekend so be sure to join us in these activities as we celebrate once again.
In September we will be having a Men's Retreat that will take place. A committee has been formed & info will be forthcoming on this.
