TEEN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
The FREE conference will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the Collin County Community College from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The youth will experience a day of fun and fellowship while developing leadership skills amongst many others. Teens will receive a free lunch, attend engaging and interactive workshops and be eligible to win great door prizes. Registration Is Required * Space Is Limited

| Mass Choir Rehearsals The Music Ministry invites “all singers” to…"come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation." (Psalm 95:1 NIV). Please join us in the sanctuary for Mass Choir rehearsals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday & Thursday, July 20th, 22nd, 27th & 29th as we prepare to minister in song during worship services on Sunday, August 1st. We look forward to filling up the choir stand with singing, rejoicing and praising! | Socks for Seniors Pastoral Care will be collecting 'Socks for Seniors'. | Church Wide Study One Month to Live
Thirty Days to a No-Regrets Life
If you knew that you had only one month to live, what would you
do to make what’s left of your life really matter. Hamilton Park United Methodist Church will begin a 6 week church-wide study in July & August entitled One Month to Live: Thirty Days to a No-Regrets Life. This church wide study will include a sermon series and small group discipleship studies from the book by the same title by Kerry and Chris Shook. Participants will be challenged to embrace the life God has entrusted to them and to live it out moment by moment with wholehearted authenticity, honesty and integrity.
Study Options: 1. independent study, 2. weekly bible study groups or 3. facilitate a small group

| HPUMC Family Picnic Sunday, August 8, 3PM - 8PM
Breckenridge Park in Richardson
Plan to join HPUMC members in an afternoon of fellowship, good food, games and fun. To assist in planning for this event, please confirm how many in your family will be attending at the sign-up table to be set-up in the CLC after each Sunday service in July. Website sign-up will also be available. This event is being sponsored by the Family Ministry and each family attending is asked to bring twelve .5 liters of bottled water to be shared with all picnic participants. Also bring folding chairs, tents and umbrellas for your comfort. Sign up for the Bake-Off contest to be held during the picnic. Sign up in the CLC or contact Ruby Miller for additional information. Prizes will be awarded.
The Health and Wellness July initiative is on "Healing Cancer Naturally". Make sure everyone comes to the Christian life Center to pick up important information for your health and wellness.
SROW presents a Garage Sale July 10 on the church office parking lot. Come out, join the fun, and get some great bargains. If you have items to donate please see Freddie Roberson or Mary Bowens.

If you know of anyone over the age of 60 who does not have air conditioning in their home, please give them this number to call or call it for them. Call Dallas County at (214-819-6001) and they will deliver and install air conditioner units for free. THE PERSON MUST LIVE IN DALLAS COUNTY. If you need a smoke alarm and live in Dallas County call 211, they will install for free.

With the early summer heat already reaching 100 degrees on a regular basis, HPUMC will go casual & cool on Sundays for the remainder of the summer. Casual & Cool also means respectful and in order.
