2012 Lenten Church Wide Study

The Lenten Church Wide Study for 2012 will be The Prayer of Jabez : Breaking Through to the Blessed Life by Dr. Bruce Wilkinson. During the 40 days of Lent leading up to Holy Week and Easter we will be focusing on this very simple prayer that contains the key to a life of extraordinary favor with God. The book embarks upon a seven chapter exploration of each part of Jabez’s prayer found in 1 Chronicles 4:10. I am encouraging you, as we seek to move from membership to discipleship, to participate in a small group study during this season of Lent. If you cannot participate in one of the small group studies offered at the church do the study with your spouse or family. You can pick up a copy of the book at Amazon.com or at your local Christian Bookstore. We will also have books available for purchase in the CLC starting next Sunday. You can register next Sunday for one of several small groups that will be leading this study. Pastor R. Jeremiah Booker
